Looking for new topics of interest for you and for the organization of your big day, I considered that one of the issues that is always very important for you, brides, is the one regarding the centerpieces and flowers that you'll use as part of the decoration of your Wedding.

seasonal flowers for weddings

We all have a favorite flower but sometimes, the date we've chosen for our wedding doesn't match that flower's season.

  • The good news is that you can always get them from a greenhouse
  • The bad news is that bringing them from a greenhouse can greatly increase their price.

However, there are many flowers that look alike and can make up for the one that you like. If that weren't the case, then you'll decide which flower you are going to choose, based on your budget.

One option is to ask the florist for a sample of the flower and the colors that you're looking for and another sample with an optional seasonal flower, a national flower. Then you can either decide what you want between these two options (keeping your budget on mind) or create a combination of both. I here share with you a list of:

Different Centerpieces

To achieve a balance in your budget, I also recommend that not all centerpieces be the same. Not so long ago, the decoration were very flat and all the tables were arranged and decorated the same. Today, we play with different textures and heights. We can use round, square and imperial tables and, if we play with the shapes of the tables, we can add:

  • At the round, tall centerpieces
  • At the square, low centerpieces
  • At the imperial, long centerpieces

We can also add some with more flowers, others with more foliage, while keeping everything in harmony. At the same time, having some smaller centerpieces than others, helps you level your budget.

Your Bouquet

I definitely don't recommend skimping on your flower bouquet, it'll be part of the main "bride role" that you'll be playing that day, since it'll be with you during all the key moments. It must be made of the flowers that you like best yet, I'm not saying that it has to be excessively expensive because of that.

A tip I can't stop sharing with you is that you should not use the same flowers in the table arrangements as in your bouquet, because you are not part of the decoration of the event, you are the protagonist of the Wedding! You must stand out above all.

I hope you find this blog post useful, I will soon share more wedding tips with you...
