Over the 10 years that I've been working at Casa Sauza as a storage specialist, I've learned from the handling of the product at the warehouses and its logistics, until it makes it to its final destination, our clients. Due to the growth of the tequila industry, we at Casa Sauza have to innovate in the handling, storage and logistics of our products.

The Master Production Schedule, MPS, is an indicator of what, when, and how many items to produce. Additionally, the information that it generates can be used as an indicator that shows how much we can commit to produce for the client. The term MPS first came about in the 1960’s, although the meaning has changed throughout time.

After 19 years in Casa Sauza and approximately 15 years of experience with activities related to packaging, it is very frustrating when packaging lines are paused due to lack of materials.
