And much more!

It's worth staying in Tequila for more than one day! The town offers several accommodation options for all tastes and budgets. There's even a hotel of giant barrels that's been very attractive to visitors. You will also find boutique hotels and traditional hotels downtown. By extending your stay, you can enjoy your visit more!
These are some of the places I recommend you visit when coming to Tequila:
You find it at the town's Main Square or Plaza Principal. It's also known as La Purísima Church, as of the Immaculate Conception of Virgin Mary. It's a 17th century building that was remodeled in 1940. Its patron saint festivities are celebrated from the last weekend of November, until December 12th. You'll here find relics of Saint Toribio, a holy martyr born in Jalostotitlán, Jalisco, who died in 1928, when he was shot in Tequila. This saint is considered the patron of undocumented migrants.
In this emblematic place, you'll find the traditional kiosk at the center of the square and, amidst its gardens, you'll find a series of bronze sculptures with popular tequila themes. It's the ideal place to take souvenir photos and to take a walk on some of its streets, where you'll find a great variety of tequilas and souvenirs for sale.
A beautiful place where the women of the town during colonial times, gathered to wash their clothes and catch up on the news of the town (aka gossip). It was also the place where men would go around looking for beautiful women to court and later turn them into the future mothers of their children.
A beautiful natural site from where the water of the Tequila Volcano emanates. It's not a place of easy access; you must go down a ravine accompanied by someone who knows the area well. For this reason, it's recommended that you carry only what you need, to travel light. Upon arrival, you will see that this descent was definitely worth your while, since you'll be able to refresh yourself in its crystal clear waters and spend a very pleasant moment.
A block away form the Main Square. You will here find:
This is without a doubt, a place that you ust visit!
Sauza's Los Abuelos (Grandparents) Museum
You'll be able to learn all about a family of ancestry in Tequila; their history, tradition and how they became one of the main tequila brands. It's a place where you can breathe the legacy of three generations in the air.
Located in Hidalgo 34, in the center of Tequila, Jalisco, we find La Capilla Bar, one of the 50 Best Bars in the World according to Drinks International Magazine. This place is 37th on this list and is over 70 years old. It's the cradle of the famous Batangas, a white tequila cocktail with lemon juice and cola. The place was given this name because they say that people enter standing but leave on their knees.
This is without a doubt, the visit that most tourists go to in Tequila. It's very interesting to learn all about the process of making Tequila, from beginning to end. You must go:
How about a pineapple margarita with jalapeño? Or a hibiscus flower with cardamom and anise drink? What about a delicious and refreshing tequila cantarito? And just like these drinks, we have many more options!
At the end of your experience, you can visit Casa Sauza's Souvenirs Shop and bring home great tequilas (at a factory price) as well as beautiful souvenirs made by our Tequila artisans.
We are waiting for you at Tequila, come and spend great times with your family and friends. As you can see, we have:
And of course, our tequila!
You will be able to spend quality time enjoying delicious meals with menus that include the ingredients of the region.
