Since it's in the list and is our country, Mexico, we will speak a little about Cancún. I will also mention a destination that is not on this list but that, from my point of view, could belong to the first 15.

Cancun as a Business Tourism Destination

Cancun, Mexico. This place has become one of the favorite destinations of companies for their corporate events given its natural wealth, beautiful beaches, exotic landscapes and the great accommodations offer that it has.

It also counts with exhibition centers that can hold up to 2,000 people. In addition, the connectivity of the destination is just as important. Since in 2015, 24 new air routes were opened, mainly with the United States, and the international airport reached up to 18 million passengers. There are also 200 daily flights that were already available to the main airports of the world. In addition to this, Cancun is considered one of the safest and most beautiful cities in the Caribbean.

Yet, the destination is not economically available to every company and planning a trip to this beautiful place implies big travel expenses. Besides, depending on the event's nature, the beach isn't always the best option to meet all of the company's objectives.

So from Cancun, I would fly to another of the most beautiful cities of Mexico, the one known as the "Perla Tapatía", Guadalajara, located at the western side of Jalisco.

Guadalajara as a Business Tourism Destination

Guadalajara is considered the second most important city of Mexico and is currently becoming increasingly strong in terms of Business Tourism. Not only its connectivity and hotel offer have expanded, but it also has the largest exhibition center of Mexico, and the first in Latin America to reach 119,000 square meters.
Other assets offered by this beautiful city are its cultural and gastronomic richness as well as the warmth of its people, which characterizes the services offered by the tapatíos (it is how people of Guadalajara are called) by the attention and kindness they show towards tourists. All of this also makes Guadalajara a great place for business tourism and conventions.
